all good things come to an end...

Yes, that's right... This blog has come to an end...

At my last blogentry I was hoping for a Job in Ireland. But had a negative response in early January. But I had some more offers that I kept in mind and was pretty hopeful that I would get one of them.
But unfortunately it took another month and I was still unemployed.

In the middle of February I got another call from the agency in Ireland if I am still available and if I am still interested in jobs in Ireland. Of course I was and so they sent my CV off to different roles. But it seemed as if this wouldn't work out either.

On Valentines Day I went to get another Tattoo. A cross with a clef inside. Pretty rad!

Then I decided to go back to Germany by the end of the month so I could save the rent and wouldn't have too many expenses. So my Mom came to Barcelona with one of her friends and we started packing my stuff into boxes. This was done in one day. Then the company to ship my boxes wasn't able to come until the 04/05th of March. I should attend a job interview in Germany on the 6th. So if there would be difficulties I wouldn't be able to make it... Then we agreed that my Mom should come to Barcelona to help with the moving and I go ahead to Germany and attend the Interview.
But always expect the unexpected...

On the 20th of February I got a phonecall from the agency in Ireland if I remember the joboffer from december and if I would still be available and interested in the job. I said of course yes and so now I just had to get references. When I got those I sent them off to the agency and then I had to wait again... I think those were the weirdest 24 hours in my whole life...
So the next day I got a call from the agenca that I can have the role, starting on Monday...
Of course this would have been impossible to do. I asked if it can't be the 15th but they said or now or never...
So I asked for some time to think about it and I talked it through with my parents. They gave me an idea that if I ask them to start on the 1st of March it gives me 3 more days to organize and they don't loose too much time.
So I suggested it to them and they said yes. Lucky me!
The decision has been made... off to Ireland I go!

To Cork I go, to be exact...

That meant I had to pack my bags, get everything done with the unemployment agency, all other things that had to be cancelled... and so on..
And on the 29th of February I left Barcelona for good to start a new adventure in Cork.

From the 1st of March I start working for Apple in Finance.

But that is a new adventure of which I will tell at another place.

I had a great time the last 3.5 years in Barcelona. I have learned a lot, seen a lot, achieved a lot and made a lot of new friends that will always keep me attached to Barcelona and which make me come back there every now and then...

But for now I have to say:

Adeu Catalunya

Adios España ... Welcome to Ireland!

New adventure goes on here: http://carinasirelandandukadventure.blogspot.co.uk/

something new...

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and have started the new Year 2012 in a great way!

Last time I had just started my job-application-marathon. I already send the applications worldwide as the situation in Spain is pretty bad!

All november has been full with job-applications and more job-applications... Then finally I got some emails from Ireland with job offers and were interviewed by telephone several times. One company also invited me to a personal interview, and of course I went to Ireland to attend.

So then on Dec, 14th I went to Cork in the evening. The company paid for the flight and hotel. I attended the interview the next day in the morning and in the afternoon I had plenty of time to explore the City of Cork as I didn't have to go back to Barcelona until Friday in the afternoon. On Friday morning I had a visitor at my hotel. Jenny (Jeanette) stopped by. I met her on James Michaels Facebook page and we became friends and as she lives in Cork we took this opportunity to meet. We had breakfast together at my hotel, chatted a lot and laughed a lot, before she had to head to work.
Then it was time for me already to check out, but I had some hours left before heading back to Barcelona which I used for some more walks through Cork.

I still have no news from the company... so please keep your fingers crossed!!!

Then I had a little creative idea... but to explain this I have to go back a little...
On the Facebook-page of James Michael(JM) I found a lot of new friends with whom I get along really well and with whom I share the love for good music. On JMs page we can post a lot of fun things and have a lot of fun with him, so that we started collecting questions for him that we wanted to have answered. Jen then put all the questions in a list and published it, so that he can easily read through all the questions. Later on he really answered those questions in 3 Videos. That was so freakin' cool! Well as not all of the questions got answered we invented creative and funny posts to make him post more Videos. That brought me the idea to create SpyCat. I saw a pic on the internet of a cat with binoculars which inspired me to write an episode of SpyCat and post it to JMs wall. People really liked it. After that there were weekly SpyCat episodes on JMs wall. It didn't make him post a new Video, but we had the chance to be part of a Videochat he hosted which also was a lot of fun, way to fast but fun!
Now SpyCat has his own space on Facebook. So if you are interested in getting to know the little Spy, then go and give him a "like"!

On Christmas I have been sick at home and relaxed on the couch with some good old movies.

As between Christmas and New Years there would be no decisions made concerning the Job, I decided to get me a ticket and go to Germany for a couple of days. Spent New years eve in my favorite restaurant/bar and throughout the week I made some visits, Timo fixed my external harddrive and I had some time to think.

Back in Barcelona I have tried to get the answeres from the pending job offers. But still nothing. So, I'll keep looking. But as it seems I will give up my flat in Barcelona and move back to Germany, so I will not have to pay any rent.

After 3.5 years in Barcelona and 4 years in Spain the adventure now comes to an end.... but I know that I'll be back every now and then...

For now I will have to plan relocating!

When the decision is made, I'll let you know!

Talk to ya later!

needed a break!

In my last blog end of august some weird things happened to me.
This wasn´t really easy for me.
I spent all of september trying to get over it.
But my body and mind needed a break and it was really needed. I had some visitors over and enjoyed sightseeing with them throughout Barcelona. Had a lot of fun! And got tattoo no. 2! The Blackbird ;)

Next thing I did was, I ordered myself some vacation. I took the opportunity to go and see my family in the United States. A whole month! ;)

On october 12th I started my journey to Dallas, Texas and I spent the first couple of days in McKinney.I went to dancing lessons, to Dallas to JFK-Memorial and shopping of course. ;) That was fun!
On the weekend I moved on to Van Alstyne, Texas for some Family-reunion. We went to an "Occupy Wall-Street" concert in Sherman on Saturday and on Sunday everybody came over to have lunch together and to meet again. It was a lot of fun, and this time I got to see some of them that I didn´t have the chance to get to meet last time or which weren´t part of the family yet last year.
On Monday I went back to McKinney where I enjoyed some nights of Tango, good food and played music.
On Thursday I went on to Sulphur, Oklahoma. There I spent the next couple of days with Sightseeing, putting Puzzles together and playing Wahoo.
When I had been there last time, everything was flooded because of a lot of heavy rains, this year was the extreme opposite: Many days without rain and a lot of days of 100°F and more everyday so that everything was dried-out. All the lakes, Little Niagara, even Turner Falls (Oklahoma´s tallest waterfalls, seemed to be more a small brook than waterfalls) all dry.
On Sunday we went to Norman, Oklahoma to shop and to go to the cinema (the remake of Footloose, not bad at all!).
Later on our trip to Holy City (in Lawton, Oklahoma) we could also see what the fire did to the forests in that hot/dry period.
On Thursday we then went on our Roadtrip. Crossing several states.
Oklahoma - Texas - Lousiana - Mississippi - Alabama.
A 16 hour drive, splitted on 2 days (once with a stop in Mississippi on our way to Alabama and another stop in Louisiana on the way back to Oklahoma).
In Alabama we went to see my Cousin Russell. He showed us his workplace and in the evening we went bowling (yes there is a video of me of it on Facebook, dammit... hahaha how I love to make fun of myself ;) .. )
The next day we went the additional 75 miles to go into Florida. Panama City Beach Florida, nice!!! At night we went to Russell´s favourite club in Dothan, Alabama to attend a Halloween Party. They even did a show, an interpretation of The Rocky Horror Picture Show. A lot of fun!

Early the next morning we had to leave already back towards Oklahoma, passing Cottonfields and crossing Mississippi river at sunset. A really cool trip. Exhausting, but worth it! Without my Monster-Energy drinks and the Oatmeal-Raisin Cookies I wouldn´t have been able to make it! Haha!

Back in Oklahoma we had to rest and then relax again... On Saturday Shon picked me up to go and have breakfast with her, her two little boys and her Mom at ihop (I love their Blueberrypancakes...!). After that we went shopping (yes I am a shop-a-holic, so what...) Then her Mom and the boys left to spent some time together and Shon and I went down to McKinney. To drop my stuff off, to have a rest and get directions, because then we went off to Dallas to see Guns 'n' Roses play live! What a cool day!

(All pictures are up on my Facebook-page!)

On sunday I have been invited to a Barbecue and in the evening, I started my packing-marathon.

Monday I had to leave again. In the morning I packed all over again and then I packed a new bag and then it was already time to leave for Dallas Fort Worth Airport. After 9,5 hours of flight I arrived at Frankfurt airport and had to wait for my other flight.Coincidently I got to see and old friend from school there while I was waiting. Really cool!
3 hours later I could go on to Barcelona.

When I got home the first thing to do was, washing clothes, opening the windows, clean up a little and relax. (Unfortunately I still have problems finding back to spanish time... Jetlag sucks!)

Then I started my job-application-marathon. We´ll see what there is on the market... but I think one thing is already clear... the Barcelona adventure is coming to an end... We´ll see what the future brings and where the destiny will take me next.

I´ll keep you updated!

Talk to you later!

Fast forward

OK, so lately I was so busy that I didn´t make it to update my Blog. I am really sorry for that and promise that it will definetly not happen ever again!

So let´s do the fast forward of the last couple of months...

March:

Went to concerts (Roger Waters, Kylie Minouge), went to the birthday party of some friends and have been working too much.

April:
Was busy working, had some visitors who were seeing Barcelona for the first time, went to Torrevieja to see my Mom at her house and ... I turned 30 years old... Yes I still can cross the street without help, yes my teeth are still my own and not rebuilt... So it was not such a big deal. It is just the change of the number... Had a great day! And I gave myself a perfect present: The Electric Blue Baby! An Epiphone Les Paul in blue! ;) I love it!!!! My colleagues gave me a ticket for the concert of Saxon, Motörhead and Judas Priest in August and some equipment for my guitar so it was a real cool day!

May:
As usual I was busy working... had some friends around, started some construction in our flat, got my nose pierced and Julia moved out. And not doing too much except work.

June:
Guess what? Yeah, busy working! But also had friends visiting and kept going with the construction. Went to 2 concerts: Buckcherry and Alter Bridge. Really great!
And got my first tattoo. A dragon on my shoulder (see picture!).

July:
Yah I was busy working... but I had 2 weeks of holidays that I spent at home in Germany. In July my parents celebrate their birthdays and my Dad this year had his retirement party. So I had to be there of course! And also I went to see a lot of friends and family and had a blast spending time with them. Then I went back and got back to work... ;)
And I went to a concert: Bon Jovi! Three hours of concert... just great!

So now we already got to August, actual month! Woohoo! That was fast! ;)

This has been definetly the weirdest month of my entire life.
It started as usual... busy working.
Then I went to the concert of Saxon, Motörhead and Judas Priest. It was really great. Had a lot of fun with Tina and Anabel that night.
They kept me busy at work so I did not do much. Got sick for some days..
Then we come to August 19th... the weirdest day... I still don´t get what happened that day. Work started as usual, and just 5 min before luchbreak the boss comes up to me and asks me for a talk in private. As I come into this room, it´s not just her and me but also the head of human resources. I was wondering what was going on and then they told me that for my bad behaviour towards the team, my form of working and my amount of unfinished work had forced them to anul my contract and to send me home right now. They had already prepared all the documents and even a cheque with the indemnization they had to pay me for this action.
The reasons they said in this talk were so not true. I tried to defend myself, but of course it didn´t help. Well I was so shocked. I didn´t know what to do.
The worst thing was they didn´t even let me say goodbye to my colleagues. After leaving the conference room they asked me for my keycard and had already blocked my computer. They were standing by my side as I was cleaning my desk, taking my personal stuff with me, so that I won´t take things with me, that belong to the company (as if I would...), and they accompanied me to the door so that I will definetly leave the building... So weird... (Incredibly I heard that they had already been hiring a substitute for me, from the new bosses old workplace, someone who worked with her in her old team... I sooooooo hate people who use their power to do such things....)
But anyway, my friends and colleagues saw me while I was leaving and told me that I shouldn´t worry, everythings gonna be fine.
Many people who saw me that day told me that it was weird seeing me like this. The girl who´s always happy and who always has a smile on her face, now pale as hell, crying and in a state of shock, realizing that her life is going to change unexpectedly...
I had plans on leaving the company that´s true. But not before next year as I wanted to save money for some events I wanted to go to... Well, maybe someones got other plans for me that I still don´t know of...
So now I am unemployed. The government pays me every month now for the next 10 months in case I don´t find work. Of course I hope to find something earlier!
I will take some days off now, just to find some rest and to start think about what I want to do next, where I want to do it, and so on.

So now, I´ll have some unexpected vacation and can enjoy the spanish summer!!!!

Have some visitors here and will spend some time with them. And try to think a lot about my future.

So, tomorrow I will have an "after work" drink with my friends from my former workplace to see them again. So I am really looking forward to that!!!!

And now off to enjoy my new freedom... for a while!

Talk to you later!

now it really took a while ...

since my last post has passed sooooo much time... So then fast forward ....

In September my Dad was visiting me here and we did a lot of Sightseeing around Barcelona (i.e. Torre Baró and Sitges). In the Beginning of September Micha found a flat for him and Rebekka, so in the middle of September he left the flat to live in his new home.
A few days later Claudia as well told me that she would be leaving by the end of the month. So I decided to take a break and live on my own for a while. So in October and half of November I was living alone. It gave me some time to think and to have some rest. It was really needed!
Mid/End of october Julia moved in and brought Gus, her dog. So now we are having fun and having a dog around again is just cool. ;)

Of course I went to see concerts... :
Manowar in September
Train, a-ha, Michael Bublé & Guns´n´Roses (with Sebastian Bach of Skid Row) in October
Alice Cooper in November
30 seconds to Mars in December

In october I also went to see a basketball match: Regal FC Barcelona - L.A. Lakers.
Of course with Pau Gasol and Kobe Bryant. It was a lot of fun!

Also in October I brought my car to Torrevieja so that my Mom would have it easier when she will be living there during winter. I took my colleague from work, Tibahire with me on the 4-5 hour ride, enjoying the landscape of Spain and talking or listening the other one sleeping. What a fun trip! Back we went by plane, it was a lot faster (45min)...

In December I wanted to go back to see my Mom abd help her a little bit with some stuff for her house. But the strike of the air-controllers wouldn´t let me. So the next day I had to take the train (4 hour ride). I lost a whole day of "vacation". That was not to my liking, but they gave me some money back, so that´s something.

On December 24th I wanted to go home for the holidays. But as there was a huge chaos in Germany with all the snow, I thought that I wouldn´t be able to go. But luckily I was and we left Barcelona with a little delay. But we couldn´t land in Frankfurt becasue of the snow. We had to fly around Frankfurt for some hours until they cleaned the runway and we were able to land. So I had to hurry to catch the fast train to Limburg where my Dad was picking me up. What an adventure... ;) But I was finally home and enjoyed the holiday at home with my family, friends and good german food and of course sweets... ;)
Thanks to everyone who could make it to meet me, go out, hot chocolates in Thommy´s and the usual suspects from Paul´s Kanapee. I really appreciate it and had a lot of fun! You made my holiday!
In January I had to go back... And as usual a lot of work was expecting me to be done...
In the end of January I have been to another concert: Stratovarius & Helloween. Cool!

For a long time I had been a little fed up with my Job and didn´t know what to do... In the end of January there had been some changes in our company, as the company was sold to an english investor and they wanted to do some restructuring in the Administration-Department. So there had to be a new team and as they needed employees, I applied for it and since Tuesday (16.02.) I work there now. So I am now in Treasury.
So that will be a new challenge and of course new tasks. But I see this as something good and my mood changed a lot to positivity.... ;)
I think this will be good for me!

Thursday was Julia´s birthday and so we went out yesterday. First to a little bar in Gracia to have some drinks and then to BeCool partying. That´s a fun place, as they have a spinning dancefloor. Cool!

My colleague from work, Mariano, is trying to teach me how to play guitar, but I kind of suck at it, hahahaha. But I try, and the more I try, the better it gets...
Mariano, Julia and my ex-faltmates are pushing me to get back to singing or singing and play guitar. Well it works if Mariano plays guitar and I sing, but if I sing and play guitar at the same time, it´s a complete fail! muahahahahaha...
Let´s see when we will play our frst concert... probably never ... hahahahaha

Talk to you later!

oh my.. a looong time has passed by again ...

Since my last post 2 months have passed already... I swear I will do better in the future!!!

End of June Izzy left the flat to live with one of her friends from university! So Michael moved in for a short time until he finds something for him and his girlfriend.

Right now there is a lot of work to do for the company as they were trying to sell it and so we had to finish a lot of old stuff... They finally sold it to an investor from england!

Got a cold for a loooong time now. Hate the airconition at work. It is always sooo cold... Can´t get ridd off the cold though...

Then I went to concerts again... KISS & Aerosmith!
You can tell how old they are already from their faces but they still rock the house!!! It was an awesome show!

In July there was really nothing going on... Spain won the World Cup in Soccer for the first time ever... That was kind of cool! FIESTA !!!!

In August, Michaels girlfriend Rebekka came for a visit. They wanted to look for flats to live in from September. And they found something. So in the middle of September they will move into their new own home!
After just 2 weeks Rebekka had to leave again as her holiday was over.

At work things are kind of going back to normal now...

I still have that cold... Hope with the antibiotics it will get better now..

Right now I am kind of having a little personal crisis...
I got stuck in a job where I can´t move any further and in which there is nothing new to learn for me... Monotony, every day the same things to do...
I am really looking for a new challenge. New job, new place, new people, no matter what, but somethings gotta change, and it has to change NOW! ... (any suggestions welcome!!!!)

Well then, maybe next time I already got some news to tell... ;)

See ya then!

it took me a little bit longer than expected ...

After 4 long months of waiting, finally some News!

In February and March I had a lot of birthday-Parties. Those are the months where most of my collegues celebrate their birthday. Met a lot of new people with whom I get along really well. Since then I get a Tortilla every Friday and I send them cake in return.
In April, I have been home for a week. I wanted to grab some stuff which I wanted to take on to my next trip in May, but later more!

Couldn´t do so much in that week, as it was filled with Family stuff. but i could get to meet Tanja & Kathrin, which was great, as I haven´t seen Kathrin for more than 3 years as she has been to Africa.
Back in Barcelona I had a lot of work.
On April 17th I went to Alicante to see my Mom. She spends the cold months there and we wanted to celebrate my birthday there.I could help her by some formal stuff that one needs when living in a foreign country. On April 19th, my birthday, I had to leave again back to Barna, but I had the day off.In that sense, thank you very much again for the Birthday wishes. You are all awesome!

Back in Barna my collegues gave me my present. Tickets for Aerosmith & Kiss in June. Cool!!!
And then it was time to start the countdown for my great adventure. In the Beginning of May I got on a trip to Texas and Oklahoma to meet my family there and to see where they live.

It was really exciting for me as most of them I had never seen before and i just knew the stories the my grandparents told me or do know the ones that visited us in Germany, but that was a loooong time ago as my grandparents passed away 10 years ago already.
So I went from Barna via Frankfurt to Dallas. My Dads Cousine Elisabeth picked me up at the airport and took me to her house in McKinney. There I stayed the first couple of days. Later that day her son Patrick picked me up to show me around.
It was really funny because I was feeling crazy, really really tired and my language-chip just spit out spanish at first... But it was fun!
On the next day I went with Elisabeth to McKinney to eat and to go sightseeing. Nice place!

On Monday after lunch Roswitha (Rose, my Moms Cousine)picked me up at Elisabeths House and we went on to Melissa, Texas where Rose´s son Randy lives with his wife and their sons (twins) as well as their daughter. They had organized a family reunion of all of Rose´s Kids and Grandkids. Just Randy couldn´t be there because of work, but her other sons Rodney and James as well as her daughter Twanya. Everybody had come to see me and to get to know me and to ask me how my parents are. I brought my Computer and so I could show Photos from where I live as well as old Photos that I found in our basement that I had scanned. It was really fun!
Then we took a lot of pictures and exchanged addresses and email so that we can stay in touch. After that we ordered Pizza... yummy!
All day long it had been really windy and hot. It got hotter and hotter. Later that night we heard that there might be a tornado, but not in Melissa. But for me it was really impressive.
We stayed the night at Randy & Lisa´s house. On the next day we went to Trenton to see Twanya in her office and after that to Van Alstyne to have lunch with Audra & Rodney. After that we went to the Museum (normally it would have been closed because of construction, but as Audra told them that I came to visit from Germany we were able to go around)and then ... Off to Oklahoma!
Next Stop: Lone Grove!

There I met Sandra, Rose´s sister where I stayed the next couple of days. She has got 2 Chiwawas Nacho & Blazer who are really cute. I wanted to take Blazer with me in my Bagpack, but I didn´t want him to stay there for 11 hours... ;o)
In the evening we were watching "American Idol". Really cool. There they are looking for real talents not like in Germany where they just have to look good and talent is not necessary if they do a great "show". (If you got some time look for lee dewyze and Crystal Bowersox in google or youtube!)

On Wednesday we went through Lone Grove & Ardmore and to Lake Murray where we climbed up Tuckers Tower of which you have a nice view over the lake. We went to the Cemetary to see Johannas tumb stone.
I met Donna, a really good friend of Rose and Sandra. Later that day I went to church with them. The people there were really curious about where I am from, what I am doing, why am I here.... Weird, but nice. I think now I know how Celebreties feel like... ;o)
I stayed the night at Rose´s house. Her 2 cats were quite shy in the beginning but later i was accepted.
On Thursday we had lunch with Shon and in the evening we were invited to have supper with Terry (Rose´s & Sandra´s brother). He and his wife Pat spoiled me with grilled Steak and a chocolate cake... yummy. it was funny. We were looking at the photos (look Terry I wrote it correctly this time!!!!) and I was impressed by all the dead "Rudolphs"...

On Friday we went to Ada to see Shon and her Boys Riley & Cooper. I met Shon before when I was about 6 years old (so a loooooooooong time ago).

On Saturday Norbert(Rose´s, Sandra´s and Terry´s brother) came all the way down from Hobart. He visited us in Germany about 15 years ago so I knew him as well. On that day he brought Alexandria with him. A nice young lady for whom He and his wife have legal custody.
So we were driving around (Pat joined us on our trip), then eating at "The Cliff" with waitress Peggy-Sue and then went to a park near the Chickasaw Recreation Center and saw some Bisons.
As Alexx and Norbert would stay the night at Terry & Pat´s house, we thought it would be a great idea that I would spend the night there as well what I did, so we had more time to talk. Terry was working night-shift so I got to see him in the morning. He brought Donuts from Daylight... mmmmmmh yummy.
After a while we went to Lake Murray again to feed the fish.
And then Shopping at the Mall... ;o)

Later Norbert dropped me off at Rose´s house, so that we could go to Tulsa with Sandra.
On the way to Tulsa there was a hail-warning for baseball-size hail. The street was looking like there has been snow. Amazing...Some time later we arrived at Melissa´s house in Bixby. Melissa is Sandra´s youngest daughter and she came to visit us in 2008 with her husband and some friends. So now I got to see her and her husband again as well as Baby Liam. He was born on April 27th, so at that time he was just 3 weeks old! So cute!
On Monday we went to the Aquarium and drove through the neighborhood to see what it is like there. A lot of people mowing that day... ;o)
In the evening we went out to eat mexican food. It was so good.
On Tuesday we left Bixby and on our way back we stopped in Oklahoma-City to see the Memorial of the bomb in the Murrah-Federal-Building in 1995. Amazing and frightening at the same time.
Later that night at Sandra´s house it was time for... American idol.
The next day I had a day off because Rose & Sandra were attending a funeral. I used that day to put the pictures from my camera to my computer and looked at the news around the world.
Thursday we went to Forth Worth with Shon, her Boys, Rose, Sandra & me. We went to the zoo. Then we stayed the night at a hotel and on Friday we went to Grapevine Mills. A huge festival on the street. Really nice. After that we went to have lunch at Rainforest Cafe. That was really cool. I like this restaurant!
And then shopping in the Mall...
Later that night Shon gave me a lift to Elisabeth´s dance studio and I got to meet some of her friends as well as her dance teacher.
So I spend my last night in the USA at her house in McKinney.
On Saturday morning we went to an art fair in the Centre of McKinney and to see her friends practicing for a dance festival.
Her son Patrick came over with his 3 kids for lunch. So I got to meet the 3 little Emonts as well.
Then it was time to leave. I re-packed my suiotcase again and again and then off to the airport. Bye Bye USA, hello Europe.

In Frankfurt I had a layover for about 7 hours, so that my parents, my grandma and my uncle decided to pick me up at the airport to have lunch near the river in Frankfurt City. They brought Sunny as well. So there I was able to show the pictures already and to tell them what I did, and what I saw, etc.
Then my family told me the latest news they knew. After lunch we went for a walk with Sunny. There we found a platform on which was written "ICH" ("me" in english!) where you could go on top so it looks like your own statue. My dad and I did that and took pictures. Really funny!

Then it was already time to go back to the airport. Barcelona calling!

Back to routine with jetlag. On Monday was a holiday so that I had one more day to relax.
Then back to reality. Had a lot of work and a lot of questions to answer. And my collegues as well had stories to tell.
We have new staffmembers and I have a new Manager. And 2 members of the actual staff went away to face new challenges in Madrid or HongKong.

Then my roommate Sonia decided to leave Barcelona. So sad.
My former roommate Gina wanted to come back, but in the end she decided not to. But now we have a new roommate. I know Claudia for more than a year now. And as she was looking for a new room, she found a new home in our flat.

That´s it for now...

More next time!

See you later, alligator!
