Christmas and Holiday @ home!!!!!!!

still sunshine, still barcelona!!!!

Now I am here for about 3 months, probation time is over and I can see things more relaxed. I get new stuff, as one of my colleagues decided to leave the company to work for Chupa-chups (a company that makes Lollipops, sounds great, doesn´t it???) So sad that she is leaving but gets me more safety on my Job! There is a negative and a positive side on everything that happens!
My room-decoration is nearly finished! I still have the flu, and can´t get rid off it even though they gave me antibiotics. Hope it will get better soon.

Last week I started learning Catalan. Sounds really dificult, but we´ll see what happens!
Went to see the concert of Queen + Paul Rodgers. Wasn´t the same as it was with Freddy, but the concerts still have something special!
Maybe soon I go and see a game of the FC Barcelona in Camp Nou Stadium.

Barcelona, sunshine, news ...

My 3rd working week and the 4th week living here in Barcelona are now over. I have a flu but I am doing good. Started decorating my room. So I went to IKEA to get some stuff. Still need something for the walls, but I´ll look for that later.
I already spoiled my flatmates with german food and cake. Both of them do not know how to do cakes, but they learn from me and I learn from them. I already know how to do Patacones. Tastes really good!
Yes, I am still working. And it is still a lot of fun!
On the 22nd I will have a reason to celebrate, as the probation time will end then! So cross the fingers for me!

Update

I am fine. I am here for about 1 and a half weeks. I first stayed with some of my friends in their flat in Martorell but today I moved to a flat in Canyelles. I will live here with a girl from Colombia and a guy from Mexico. Really nice people. Have to walk about 2 min to the metro station and by metro it takes about 20 min to go to work. I work from Monday to Friday from 9-18h. The people are really nice and I am already working with a lot of responsability. Already have a lot of stuff to do, but it is fun. Right now I work in the financial department in a really young team, people between 23 and 34 years old. The supervisor is the oldest. My colleagues accepted me from day one and invited me to go out with them to have dinner or to go out to a disco.
They often speak catalan when they are togehter, but if I ask them to switch to spanish it isn´t really a problem for them.

Hope that this will be better then the last Job I had!!!
